Biography

A Texas Artist
Through & Through

Charlie Bullock has spent decades capturing the character of Texas — its people, its land, its history — in oil, acrylic, and everything in between.

Based in Athens, Texas, Charlie works from a studio one block off the square on TX Hwy 19 — a real working art space where paintings are made, commissions are born, and students discover their creative voice.

His work spans portraiture, contemporary cowboy scenes, historic Texas architecture, and sweeping Southwest landscapes. He's equally at home with an intimate 8" × 10" study and a building-sized mural, bringing the same attentiveness to both.

Charlie is also a committed educator. He's taught students of all ages — youth and adults alike — giving them not just technical skills but a way of seeing the world that stays with them long after they leave the studio.

Whether you're looking to commission an original work, purchase a piece from his portfolio, or sign up for classes, Charlie welcomes you into his world.
